I'm just going to talk about my thoughts, just mine: 

From the parts that have been read to me or I have read, my thought on Simon are mostly good, he's seems like a funny guy to be around, but he can say stuff that might make you uncomfortable at times, I guess I just like how he just tells people what he's thinking and not hide it, even if i think he's still hiding some thoughts to himself, I learned from this story that just because someone is different doesn't give you the right to act like your the boss of them.
